Draftsman / Entry Level
Mechanical Engineer
Description: The Draftsperson is responsible for the creation and accuracy of prints and related documents for “as built” designs, the creation of prints and manufacturing specifications based on instructions from engineering staff, and creation of sales drawings based on engineering and sales specifications. 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self motivated.
• Very proficient in SolidWorks.
• Proficient use of measuring instruments: tape measure, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
• Computer experience including MS Word and Excel.
• Must be familiar with the use of hand tools and basic fabrication tools.
• Self motivated.
• Can work in a fast paste hands-on environment.
• Any design experience or mechanical engineering course work a plus.
• Special consideration to candidates with an interest for and involvement in the automotive after market, motorsports, or similar industries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create manufacturing prints and specifications based on instructions from engineering staff.
• Create manufacturing prints and specifications for existing or prototype parts.
• Work with engineering staff on other documents such as assembly instructions, sales specifications, production specifications, user manuals, etc.
